  5. Hi there - I need to go to DC at the last minute and was wondering what hotel this is. It seems to be a good deal as all other hotels are crazy expensive right now due to the Cherry Blossom Festival. Can you please help me guess the hotel below? My dates are 4/9 to 4/11 The hotel is a 4* in the Dupont Circle - Embassy Row area. It's showing on the EasyView at $134/night Amenities: Pet friendly, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Spa services, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower Thanks!
  6. I started from $159 and added 7 rebid zones, increasing by dollar each time. I finally caught a fish at $166. Thanks so much for your help in everything. I love this forum!
  7. Hi there! I started to look at some hotels in London via Hotwire but since my recent win in Munich for the first leg of my trip was pretty decent, I figured I'd try my hand with Priceline. If I can get some help with bidding strategies, I would really appreciate it! The zones I'd like to stay in are 1) Mayfair-Soho and 2)The City - Tower Bridge - St. Pauls Cathedral. My dates are Fri, 5/15 to Mon, 5/18 and I would like to get 5* ONLY hotels. I tried bidding last night, adding all the zones except the ones with the known 5* hotels and got up to $145/night with no bites. I would like to bid no more than $150/night. I Since there were so many zones without a 5* hotels to choose from and add, I honestly can't remember the orders of my bid. I just know that I started at $120 and went up to $145. Any help bidding would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
  8. Hi there - I think I might try my hand with Priceline and see what happens. I got a good deal through Priceline for a hotel in Munich for the first leg of my trip so I'll just try it for London as well. If I have further questions or book something, I'll post my final call. Thanks!
  9. I bid only once. I wish I could've gotten the Sofitel instead but the lowest price right now is $195 so I'm pretty happy to be saving $65/night.
  10. Good morning! I figured out what was wrong. I was using Bidding.Helper and with May 14 to 18 as the dates and not 15 through 18. Sorry about that. When using the May 15 to 18 date, the $155/night is no longer there. Do you have a guess for this one? $162/night 4.5* City of London - Towerbridge - St. Pauls Cathedral with the following amenities set: Free Internet, Fitness center, Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom
  11. Hi there - I'm planning a trip to London on May 15-May 18 and would really like some help identifying some hotel options on Hotwire. I would like to stay in the Mayfair - Piccadilly Circus - Soho area or the City of London - Towerbridge - St. Pauls Cathedral. I've looked at three hotels and need help identifying them. Based on the Hotwire easyview listing, here are my choices: 5* Mayfair - Piccadilly Circus - Soho - $197/night Pet friendly, Fitness center, Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Golf nearby, Tennis nearby, Spa services 4* City of London - Towerbridge - St. Pauls Cathedral - $155/night Free Internet, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Restaurant(s), Internet access, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom 4* City of London - Towerbridge - St. Pauls Cathedral - $178/night Free Internet, Boutique hotel, Smoke-free rooms, Restaurant(s), Internet access Thanks so much!
  12. HI everyone - Just wanted to come back and close out this thread. I decided to rent an apartment and got 4 nights across the beach for $400.
  13. What's your guess for this Hotwire Isla Verde hotel: $143/night Resort, Beachfront hotel, Casino, Fitness CenterPool(s), Restaurant(s), Business Center Self service laundry Internet access Tennis Nearby Spa Services Accessible for the blind Accessible for the deaf Accessible path of travel In-room accessibility Accessible bathroom Handicapped parking Roll-in shower Thanks!
  14. Wow, this is awesome information, Romelle. Thanks so much. After sleeping on it, I think that we'll be able to tour Old San Juan in one day and spend the rest relaxing on the beach so now I'm reconsidering my options of staying in Isla Verde. I'm eyeing a voucher for four nights in San Juan Water Beach club for less than $550 and might pull the trigger on that. I'll keep you posted.
  15. I haven't considered Isla Verde because I wasn't sure how close to everything that area is. I want to do touristy things like visit Old San Juan, of course, and do not plan on driving. Would you recommend that area? It would be nice to be on the beach.
  16. Thank you for your help! I would really love a 4* hotel within that area for around $120-$140 that's NOT the Sheraton (because reviewers have noted that it's relatively far from all things touristy). Do you have any suggestions on how to make other choices appear on Hotwire/Priceline? El Convento is ok but steep at $170ish. It gets me to a total of over $700 for four nights. Thanks!
  17. Hi there - I'm trying to book a hotel in San Juan/Condado area for Oct. 17 - 21. I'm searching both Hotwire and Priceline Express. Here is the deal I'm interested in on Priceline Express: 4 Star Hotel Old San Juan - Condado Area - $151/night Amenities: swimming pool, fitness center with a bed choice There is a cheaper 4 Star Hotel Old San Juan - Condado Area but it looks to me like it's the Sheraton and I don't really want that hotel. Its amenities are: Free Internet, Swimming Pool, Pets Allowed, Fitness Center, Restaurant, Casino, Business Center. It comes in at $92/night Can you please help me identify both? I'm also looking at two properties on Hotwire: One is in Condado: $91/night (again, I assume this is the Sheraton) Free Internet, Pet friendly, Casino, Smoke Free Rooms, Fitness Center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business Center, Self service laundry, Internet access, Golf Nearby, Spa Services, Accessible for the blind, Accessible for the deaf, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Wheelchair accessible, Accessible bathroom, Handicapped parking, Roll-in shower One is in Old San Juan: $179/night Free Internet, Boutique Hotel, Smoke Free Rooms, Fitness Center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business Center, Internet access, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Handicapped parking, Roll-in shower Can you also help me identify these? Thank you!
  18. I went ahead and booked with Hot.wire for a $97/night 4 star hotel for 8/23 to 8/25. The amenities are as follows: Fitness Center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business Center, Internet access, Accessible for the blind, Accessible for the deaf, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Handicapped parking, Roll-in shower and it was the Anaheim Marriott Suites!
  19. Odd. When I search using 2 adults, 1 child, my amenities set still doesn't say "Pet friendly" or "suite", I still just get: Indoor pool(s) Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center Internet access Golf Nearby Tennis Nearby Spa Services Accessible for the blind Accessible for the deaf Accessible path of travel In-room accessibility Accessible bathroom Handicapped parking Roll-in shower and the TA rating is 3.5/5, not 4.0. I did this just now so I guess the hotel availability has changed? What would your guess be for this hotel? It would be awesome if I got the Marriott.
  20. Hi there - Please help me identify the following hotel, currently listed at $97/night on Hotwire and $100/night on Hotwire Easyview for 8/23 to 8/25 (does that mean they're still the same? It's the only 4* hotel listed on both). The amenities list showing on Easyview is as follows: Fitness Center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business Center, Internet access, Accessible for the blind, Accessible for the deaf, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Handicapped parking, Roll-in shower Thanks!
  21. Hi there - Please close this topic. I booked my rooms at the Aria using a comped night and just ended up paying for the second night for 8/21 through 8/23. Thanks!
  22. Do you have tips on how to bid and not get Vdara or Trump? It used to be that Trump was in the Strip North - Vicinity location selection but now that it isn't, I'm afraid of catching it instead of the other options. I don't have anything against the property, just that it's a little further off the strip than I'd like. Additionally, I don't want to catch Vdara when bidding because of the lack of casino. Thanks for your advice!
