I would like to stay under $130 a night if possible, not sure what the going rates are right now? All zones are acceptable in the Fort Lauderdale area, just looking for the best rate. You can include all zones, but Pompano Beach and West Fort Lauderdale are my top choices. All these zones are fine, these are the ones I saw with 4 star hotels in Fort Lauderdale area: Downtown Ft Lauderdale, Fort Lauderdale Beach, Hollywood, Pompano Beach, West Ft Lauderdale - Plantation = Sawgrass Mills Thanks!

I am looking for a 4 star hotel in the Fort Lauderdale area for two nights, 3/28 & 3/29. I am open to staying at any four star, the least expensive the better, in the fort lauderdale area. My top choices are Pompano Beach & West Fort Lauderdale - Plantation area, preferably free parking. Can you please give me some bidding tips and rates that would be helpful when bidding on Priceline? If possible, I would prefer to bid the zones for Hollywood & West Fort Lauderdale Plantation first up to our $105 limit & then do the others for the least expensive 4 *. Thanks for the advice!

At this point we are find to stay anywhere in Fort Lauderdale including the Beach and Downtown area. We did this in December and got a priceline deal for $80/night which was great, but parking was a mandatory $21 per day. So, for these areas, I don't want to go too much above $90/night due to the mandatory parking fees at a lot of these places. It was unexpected the first time, this time we're prepared:)

Hi there, I have tried bidding up to $105/night for the dates 1/15 - 1/17 in two zones, Hollywood, and Plantation. Neither of these has been a successful bid for a four star hotel. I really didn't want to spend over $105/night, is it possible to get a 4 star in the fort lauderdale area with this budget? Any recommendations & bidding advice would be much appreciated, thanks!

What do you usually see these rooms go for in Hollywood on Priceline? Just curious to know what the ballpark winning bid is usually, over $100?

I went up to $95 using the 5 rebidding zones for the same dates 1/15 - 1/17. Any suggestions, should we wait a few days and try again? Also, we are okay spending &100/night maybe a little more if need be. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Thanks again for the advice! We decided to try bidding on the Fort Lauderdale Beach Zone & Hollywood Zone together with the 5 rebidding zones. We got the Hyatt Regency Pier Sixty-Six for $80/ night, thanks!

Hi thanks for the advice, I was bidding on the Hollywood zone only, since this is our first choice. I used the 5 re-bidding zones & my highest bid of $75.00 for those dates was not accepted. Any advice on how to proceed, we would like something in this area before bidding in the other two zones. Thanks!

Just wanted to let you know I got the W New York on Lexington for $140/night for 3 nights 12/27 - 12/30. Couldn't have done it without your help so thank you very much for all of your help!!!

Looks like plane tickets go up significantly for us right around Christmas, but found a good fare for the dates December 27th - 30th, can you advise on these dates and provide a bidding strategy for a 4*, again trying to stay below $200, something around $150 would be ideal. Thank you very much!

Absolutely open to changing the dates, in fact we are just looking to spend 3 nights in NYC anytime this December, if you could advise me of the best dates & times to consider that would be awesome & I can go from there:) Thanks again really appreciate the help!

Considering dropping down to 3 stars as well if I can get a lower price. Don't plan on being in the room much anyway, as long as the room is decent and location is good. Just trying my options to see if it's feasible to bid less than $200 this time of year, otherwise may have to opt for different dates. Thanks again for your help!
