University of Tulsa is a few miles East of downtown. I know of no free parking at Hotels downtown. There's plenty of "free" street parking since majority of the parking meters are broken. There might be a hotel or two North of campus (near I 244) but would NOT advise staying in that part of town. Have a wonderful trip, OKC_Tulsa_OK_Resident

Priceline Zone 8 Midtown, I should have "studied" BetterBidding "map" (Tools icon) to learn "what" hidden "bottom line" 3 star hotels are under Priceline's "name your own price" ! UGH ; ( Park Inn is usually $79/day, some sites had discounted to $63/day, AWARDED bid on FIRST try of $41/day : ( Informs me, TOO HIGH a bid ! When taxes & fees ($24.87) are included, TOTAL daily price is $49.29

Hotel accommodations were EXCELLENT ! Two downsides, 1.5 miles from beach :( ($1.25/hr, meter parking) and $21/day hotel parking fee (non negotiable)

As you know, don't know "who" car company is until bid is "accepted", in this case, Budget was nice to award the bid at bid price of $19/day. Thank you for your interest.

Compact Total charges $195 versus non-bid total charges $336. This took several days bidding.

4* Ft. Lauderdale Beach, FL, Hyatt Regency Pier Sixty-Six, usually $179 awarded $73 for (Thursday-Friday) 11/10/11 thru 11/11/11. Obtaining a "winning" bid on rental car was "more" challenging.
