  1. No. I am thinking of trying $100 and see what I get. I guess now I have to wait 72 hours? Should I try 2 1/2 stars? I really would prefer the French Quarter. Thanks so much for all the help and advice!
  2. Hi, I need a room for 3 people (1 room/2 beds or 2 rooms) for a one-night pre cruise stay in New Orleans 10/29 (Saturday). After lots of research on bidding startegies in the forums (thanks to all!) here is what I have done so far WITHOUT ANY LUCK! 6/23/05: $60, 4*, FQ $65, 4*, FQ & West Bank $67, 4*, FQ, WB & East $70, 4*, FQ, WB, East & Airport $75, 4*, FQ, WB, East, Airport & Metairie $80, 4*, FQ, WB, East, Airport, Metairie & Garden District $65, 4*, all of the above plus Central Business District $65, 4*, all of the above plus Boutique 06/26/05: $55, 3* & 4*, FQ & West Bank $60, 3* & 4*, FQ, WB & East $65, 3* & 4*, all of the above plus Central Business District $70, 3* & 4*, all of the above plus Convention Center $75, 3* & 4*, all of the above plus Garden District Is it because it is a one-night Saturday stay, or are rooms scarce on this date/weekend (it is Halloween)? Is it too early (4 months away)? Perhaps I need a different bidding strategy? Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!
