  1. Eastgate Tower Hotel 222 East 39Th Street New York, NY 10016 212-687-8000 Check-In: Sunday, February 15, 2009-03:00 PM Check-Out: Monday, February 16, 2009-12:00 PM Summary of Charges Room Cost (avg. per room, per night): $81.00 (USD) Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Nights: 1 Room Subtotal: $81.00 (USD) Taxes and Fees: $21.78 (USD) Total Room Cost: $102.78 (USD) I just posted a review of the hotel on Tripadvisor.com. This is a great hotel -- don't be scared off by the 2.5* rating. It's located two blocks from the W Tuscany and is basically a converted apartment building. Large rooms with full kitchen. Furniture is dated but hotel and rooms are very clean.
  2. Just got this on Priceline. Looks like it might be a new hotel since I did not see it listed in the "pinned" section. I'm just about to check out of the hotel. IT IS AN AMAZING hotel. Definitely not deserving of only 2 stars. Hampton Inn Newark-Harrison-Riverwalk Check-In Date: Monday, August 7, 2006 Check-Out Date: Tuesday, August 8, 2006 Newark - Newark Airport 100 Passaic Avenue Harrison, New Jersey 07029 973-483-1900
  3. Vancouver Downtown: 1. Bid $52 for 4* -- Reply: Permission to bid again if I bid $15 more 2. Added zone (Burnaby) and bid again for a 4* this time at $60 -- Reply: Permission to bid again if I bid $17 more 3. Bid $40 for Vancouver (Downtown) only -- added 3* hotel class -- Accepted Holiday Inn Downtown Check- In Date: Thu, Jun 30, 2005 Check-Out Date: Fri, Jul 1, 2005 Subtotal: $40.00 (US dollars) Taxes & Service Fees:$11.56 (US dollars) Total Charges: $51.56 (US dollars) NOTE: It is likely that this same hotel was on Hotwire for $53. While I was trying to figure out which hotel it was (with the help of Betterbidding), the hotel was not available anymore on Hotwire. So, I went to Priceline and ended up with it anyway.
  4. Sorry about that. I didn't scroll down far enough. I went back to Hotwire only to find that the $53 3* I wrote about here was gone. So, I ended up using Priceline. I bid $40 for a 3* in Vancouver and guess what --> I got it --> The Holiday Inn Downtown. So, I guess it all works out. I'll post the details on the Priceline thread. BB_613 :)
  5. I'm new here so I hope this is the right place to post this question. Hotwire has a 3* hotel in the Vancouver (Entertainment District) with "restaurant, pool, gym, and laundry". It looks to be a great price ($53) for the time that I want but I'm not sure which hotel it is. The Betterbidding list doesn't include it. Has anyone else bought this hotel? Or can someone help me figure out which one it is? I notice that on the Priceline list on Betterbidding there are a few 3*'s. Do the two share hotels sometimes? Thanks! BB_613
