I checked out the MAPS and HOTELS.com and and the price for the Courtyard is the same there as direct through the hotel.

I ended up getting the 4.5* Palomar - Magnificent Mile River North Area for both nights. Yes indeed with the slight difference that I only need 1 room on 10/26...the 2 rooms are for 10/25.

Game plan #2 is most appealing to me. using Bidding.helper the only 4.5 star that shows up is $124 per night and hast this list of amenities: Indoor pool(s), Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Tennis nearby I don't see a 4.5 star withe the list of amenities I originally posted.
