  1. Few days ago I tried $80 for a Resort - declined added 4 star then bid $75 - was delcined. I didnt bother with the 3 1/2 star - becasue I didnt see any 31/2 stars in on any other travel sites. and wasnt sure what I'd get. So I waited the 24 hrs. So Today I tried .... $75 for resort - declined rebid $80 for 4**** and got the Renaissance Curacao Resort & Casino. On kayak.com the cheapest hotel rate for these dates was $161 per night not including taxes. My Total Your Offer Price Per Room, Per Night: US$80.00 Subtotal: US$320.00 Taxes & Fees: US$40.00 Total Charges: US$360.00 needless to say Im pleased.
  2. I went to all the priceline forums - no Bellagio listed. For whatever reason My dad insists he stays there... says the ventican is too far of a walk to where the action is. Belliago, Travelocity, Expedia all listed these nights at $149 per night - not including taxes. I found a coupon code for Belliago B25SUM which brought the price down to $126 for the first night and $104 for each additional night paid $375 with taxes for 3 nights. EXPIRES -July 5, 2009 - January 31, 2010 (B25SUM) code Advance reservations made 30 days prior to check in receive 15% off Advance reservations made 31-60 days prior to check in receive 20% off Advance reservations made more than 60 days prior to check in receive 25% off Also they have a buy 2 nights get one free promo.. but when i clicked through, it wasnt showing the free night deducted, plus the 2 nights where a bit higher per night than what i had a paid. But it would have worked out to be $10 cheaper if the free night was deducted from the total. complentary free night promo Hopes this helps someone.
  3. Bid on this hotel same day I got into Atlanta . First bid was accepted. Thank goodness. Because I went to the Wesley Inn without reservations and their prices were $109 without tax. I used the hotel lobby wifi and tried priceline and got the Hyatt. - which is surprisingly very nice with a 50" flat screen in room.
  4. Should have added more area options. instead of more star options Ive stayed at this hotel before -Ramada Inn in Hialeah. Its a dump. But hey it was last minute and from the hotel's website it would have cost me about $95. But I warn you never pick a one star in miami lakes area. you will get this. I was hoping for the 2* courtyard by Marriot.
  5. Trying for Miami Airport Area for 2* hotel at $30. added other areas north miami, rebid added miami lakes and others not far from that area. I upped bid to $35. Still denied. So I added the Miami Beach area, because there were no *2 stars reported in that area, wrong again..tennieee. Got Days Inn on the beach ...and also a rash. :) Also I bid for this 2 am in the morning, the day of my stay. Add this hotel to your list.
  6. 2nd time using priceline. I bid for 2* hotels in Miami Aiport Area, Miami Lakes, Miami North areas. at $28, bid was rejected. They counter offered to increase bid by $7. I declined. I re-bid and added a 1* hotel. On your list, no one ever posted a 1* hotel in these areas ... thought it was a safe bet. :) and upped my bid to $29. Bid was accepted. Got Studio Plus in the Aiport area. I would have decreased my bid, if i knew I was going to get a 1* hotel. P.S. Also I bid last minute...the night before my stay. hope that helps
