  1. I booked it and it was the Palazzo for 203 a night for the first three nights. Now i have to worry about the remaining two nights :) Thanks for your help.
  2. I am trying to switch between hotels..so i tried to see what priceline express has for me and i found two options, the first one is for sure the trump. the second option is for $203, with a 9+ rating in the north side of the strip...i need your help to id it please, below is the description: "You'll find spectacular gaming and shopping along the north end of the Strip, stone's throw north of Flamingo Road. The casinos along the strip offer great restaurants, exceptional gaming, and a variety of entertaining shows. If the money you won is burning a hole in your pocket, come to the north end of the Strip to experience the best shopping in Vegas. Multiple golf clubs are also nearby. Free Parking Swimming Pool Fitness Center Restaurant Casino Business Center " Thanks again
  3. we are two adults and two children (4 & 1). If switching between two hotels will solve the problem, then it is ok..but that is why i said i want to avoid trump, if i am going to switch, then i want to make sure one of the two hotels is something like the venetian, bellagio or Pallazo. If i find a good deal for the whole five nights, then even the trump will be ok with me. Thanks again...
  4. Thanks a lot for your kind reply. my budget is 1,500 to 1,600 for the whole stay, including ALL fees..and i am stretching here :(..
  5. Hello there, I need your help again. I am attending a regular conference in Las Vegas (it will be at cesars) and I will be taking my family with me…I am looking to stay in a five star hotel in the north strip area…this will probably our only chance to go to vegas as a family, so I want it to be nice. Here is the problem, for some reason, most of the rates I am getting are very high..i tried to bid for 250, which brings the total with all fees to $1,650 and I was still not successful. Then I paid attention to some of the other posts for guys who got the venetian for 230 or 250 I forgot for the same period, but not exactly only for the first three days…when I tried that in other sites, I did see the other sites showing lower prices from 10/3 to 10/6 so I am not sure what is going on on the 6th or the 7th in Vegas. What do you suggest? Should I split my stay? All thoughts are welcome.
  6. We gave up..it was just too expensive! luckily we booked tickets on southwest...so we just cancelled the trip. Prices were dropping one night before our planned departure, but it was still high.
  7. Thanks for your kind reply...now i understand, because i knew something wasn't right with the price range i was seeing! So, where in Midtown do you suggest? because i see in priceline there is east and west midtown areas...and would you suggest another location? like south central park? one more thing, will they charge my for my older son (4 years old)? your help is highly appreciated ...
  8. Done. Thx, and sorry about that...didn't know I had to follow up, even if the trip was cancelled.
  9. Greetings, Need your help! I am looking for a 4* hotel in Town Square area (anything like the Doubletree or the Residence Inn or the Westin). I don’t want to stay far from that location. It will be great if i can find something between $200 to $250 a night….in the worst case scenario, I will try to push it to $290-300 a night. Check in: 9/22 Check out: 9/26 Suggestions? Please note that it is going to be me, my wife and my two children (4 and 1)
  10. Hmmm, now I am more confused :( What do you suggest? :)
  11. By the way, if you think of a better area, let me know.....we are going there mainly for Disney and Universal studios. but i was advised that International Drive is the best option.
  12. Hello, I need your suggesetion on how to land a good price for a 4 or 5 star hotel in Orlando, most likely a 4*...for the period between 12/22 to 12/29 in the International Drive area. I would like to think of a price between 50 and 70 max. We are two adults and one child (3 years old) and an infant (3 months). thx
  13. Thanks for the reply. You are right, I know at the end I will just go with whatever makes more comfortable. However, I was hoping to hear your thoughts guys... Should I try something else? Will I have a better shot? You guys have a great experience with this :)
  14. Hello again, Now I have to stay for five more nights guys.. So, what do you think? Should I just try to extend my stay with this this Holiday Inn hotel for the same rate? Or should I try to bid again and try to get a better rate or a better hotel? Thanks in advance.
  15. I have landed the Holiday Inn London - Regents Park successfully for $145 a night. Even though it shows at in the Marble Arch zone, I see it more in the Regent Park zone (hence: the name). I only took it for five nights (9/16 to 9/21) and not for ten nights because I might leave London earlier than expected. However, priceline is giving me the option to extend for the same price, which is great. The total comes to: $725 + 160 in taxes and fees= $885 ($177 a night). I am very happy for this deal as I found it on booking.com for $346 for the same duration. The hotel is close to the main attractions and near to two tube stations. I just want to thank you all for your great help :)
  16. Thanks.. I will go ahead with bidding and will let u know how it goes... Just wanted to clear something: for example, when I start with Marble Arch at 110 and I get rejected, my rebid zone should be one of my other two options (Mayfair or Bayswater), right?
  17. Thanks for your reply. I don't prefer to pay more than $200; as u can see, I will be staying for 10 nights. So, as u said, the least expensive 4* hotel or better. My concern is the quality of the hotel as those 4* hotels in London vary in terms of quality Thx again
  18. Greetings I need your help/advice/suggestion to get a good deal for a 4 or 5 * hotel in London. The preferred areas are: * marble arch * Mayfair * Bayswater Check in : sep 16 , 2011 Check out: sep 26 , 2011 I don't want to pay more than $200 per night, preferably less than that Many thanks
