69.86/night including taxes and fees. Booked on Sunday, Feb. 26. Started at 45, was offered it at 60, re-bid at 50, and then successfully re-bid at 55.

Successful bid for four nights at 75/night (56.76 in total taxes and fees / 356.76 grand total) at the New Haven Hotel. I started at 55, moved to 70, and finally succeeded at 75. Note that I declined raising my bids to 84 after the first two attempts. Also, note that the two 3 start properties in New Haven, the Omni and the Marriott, are actually rated lower on TripAdvisor than the 2.5 star properties, including the New Haven Hotel. The Omni has real issues nowadays, and it might actually make more sense to go for the 2.5 star properties. I've never stayed at the Marirott at Yale.

Successful bid for the New Haven Omni for 65 dollars for two nights (28.38 total taxes and fees). Started at 50 and moved up in 5 dollar increments, so this is about as good as it's going to get. Also, I bid on the same day (Sept. 6).
