  1. Thanks!

As a point of clarification - I had earlier stopped at a bid of $70+ because I just wanted to be a bit more conservative, as a start, and do not want to end up as seemingly overbidding.

Given that these are very tough dates (wasn't aware of the Bumbershoot Festival), I am now more willing to increase my bid for a 3* and maybe even considering lowering the star rating to 2.5*/2* eventually.

  2. Does anyone has any luck with 3* Downtown Seattle for the period of 1 Sep to 3 Sep 05?

    Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!

Failed bid after i tried the following (adding $5-$6 each time):

    1) Downtown seattle, $55

    2) Free rebid Lake Union, $60

    3) Free rebid U of Washington, $65

    4) Free rebid Lynnwood/Edmonds, $71

Did not want to go higher than $70+ cos it would add up to close to $100, plus taxes and service charges.

  3. Was not successful in numerous bids for resorts in San Juan, Dorado, Rio de Grande-Humacao areas for the period of 1 - 3 July 2005 (weekend of independence day).

Had to revise bid to 3-star hotel in the areas of San Juan & Dorado for $86 and was allocated Radisson Ambassador.

    Offer Price:$86.00

    No. Rooms:2

    No. Nights:2

    Subtotal:$344.00

    Taxes & Svcs:$59.44

    Total Charges:$403.44

However, was not successful in my car rental bid for the period 30 Jun - 3 Jul 2005. :)
