I managed to get a 2* Seattle Airport Hotel, the Days Inn, for $50 from August 24-25. Failed with a prior bid of $45. Maybe not a great property, but it sure beats sleeping at the airport.
Pricing seems a little high in the area. I failed with SEA bids for 3* ($40, $48, $56, and $64). Also failed with SEA bids for 2.5* ($42 and $50). C'est la vie.
Used the BetterBidding link to PRICELINE as always!
My first bid of $60 for a 4* at LAX for 9/4/11 - 9/5/11 was accepted. Will be staying at the Hilton LAX. It looks like an older property, but hopefully it will prove to be a good place to sleep. Definitely a convenient location.

4* Sydney Vibe Hotel
in Hotwire Hotels - Other Countries
Posted
$122 per night on Hotwire for the Vibe Hotel Sydney on Goulburn. Stayed Wed September 7 - Thur September 8 and was able to arrange for an early check-in. Location was good and had a very pleasant stay. I'd say it is realistically it is a smidge below a 4* property given its age, but I have no real gripes -- especially since the full price rate is $399 AUD.
Amenities included: smoke free rooms, fitness center, pool, restaurant, and high-speed internet access (extra charge).
Used the BetterBidding link for HOTWIRE, of course!
