Need help IDing a 4* currently on Hotwire for $119. Amenities are: Free Internet Airport shuttle Fitness center Restaurant(s) Business center Golf nearby Location is important and the area is fairly large which makes me nervous... thanks!

Can someone who is familiar with SF comment on other areas that would be good for someone's first trip to the city? thanks

Thanks for the reply. Willing to do around $150+/night. Looks like that should be sufficient to get one of these places. Anyone know off hand if any of the 4* hotels in Union Square West are actually in the Tenderloin district? Thanks guys

I'm hoping to get a nice hotel in early November. I've never been to SF before but I've heard Union Square was a good area and it looked like there were several 4* options there through priceline. Anyone have any other suggestions? ALSO - I've heard tenderloin district is somewhere you absolutely need to avoid. Are any of the listed hotels near this bad area?
