We didn't proceed further with the bidding
We managed to get the Trump
Managed to book Lion Hotel
Travel Dates : 2nd May to 5th May 2014
I've checked the 3.5* and 4* hotels that are available in this area using this link
Priceline Hotel List Washington DC
I'm kind of interested in those hotels that are near Gallery Place Chinatown Metro.
Specifically the 2 hotels that came up in my mind and that I wanted are the following
Courtyard by Marriott Washington Convention Center <-- I hope PRICELINE can get a sweeter deal for me ( preferred )
and Monaco Washington DC, a Kimpton Hotel <-- abit out of budget and I hope PRICELINE can help me with this since the location is just beside each other.
Pls advise on what filter should I input and price to start bidding for the above property.
* already clicked both the PL and HOTWIRE links. Thanks
I'm looking at these 3.5* Hotels as follows @ Anaheim North and will start @ $50 as advised
and I would re-bid every 24hrs if it's unsuccessful.
1) Sheraton Anaheim Hotel
2) Red lion Hotel Anaheim
3) Sheraton Park Hotel At The Anaheim Resort
Hi, I already clicked the link :)
Hi guys,
I'm looking at bidding a 3.5* hotel (or 3* if 3.5* is not possible) at Anaheim North area that is near to Disneyland and California Adventure.
Is the budget $50-$70 possible?
Pls advise bidding strategy. Thanks! :)
Pls see dates as below
15th to 16th Oct
1 night
Started bidding at $70 and increase each bid by $5. Finally won Sheraton San Diego Hotel and Marina at $95.
Thanks Betterbidding for the help!
I think rates might have changed.
It's 4* south for $148 and north for $160.
For 5* north seems to be $134. Are this referring to the Trump which is actually off the strip?
What would be the bidding strat?
Thanks.
Aaron, thanks for your prompt reply.
Since North Strip 5* is at the extreme high side, I was wondering approx how much should I be able to get a 5* at South Strip?
If it's too high for even south, what would be a good start for 4* at North or South.
Thanks.
Pls help with the bidding strategy for 4* Las Vegas North / South Strip - 10/14 to 10/16.
As I'd be staying in a 5* hotel during the weekday here, I would like to save up abit maybe on a 4* and would consider a 5* hotel if it is almost the same price or a tad more expensive I would go for it.
I would not consider the North Condo , only on the North or South Strip.
Budget would be between $60 to $90 as I benchmarked hotwire's rate is about $107 for a 4* at South Strip on the same day.
I have not started to bid for Vegas yet.
The rates that I posted below are the hotwire rates that I used to benchmark. So I was thinking to start at $100. What do you think?
Las Vegas rates from Hotwire 10/10 - 10/12
North 5* $140
North 4* $114
South 5* $152
South 4.5* $240
South 4* $107
As per your advise, I started to bid on $3's and gotten Parc 55 @ $ 146.
Thanks AaronJB.
I would definitely recommend my friends to get cheap deals here.
Is the Trump (5* Strip North Condo) an option for you or a property/zone you want to avoid (it's not located directly on the strip)
Yes I'd avoid the Trump. Thanks
Sorry that I left out the budget. Maybe about $100 - $120. Cheers.
Hi there, thanks for the prompt response.
I'd stick with those location at the strip.
Sorry for posting the 10/14-10/16 's stay. I'd create a separate thread for it.
Thanks.
Did some investigations using hotwire as a benchmark the rates returned as below.
On the 10/14 to 10/16 dates, there are no 5* hotels available? Is it sold out?
As I'd be going to Las Vegas "twice", I would love to stay at a 5* on at least one of the occasion.
Pls advise strategy. Do I still have ample time?
I would always support this site using the links that are provided and also would recommend my friends too. You guys are the pros.
Thanks in advance. :)

Need help on the above location. Chose the above location due to it's vincinity to shopping malls.
Tried USE / USW / South San Fran 4*
Bidded untill 130USD and it's not successful. Budget is up to 150USD.
I see there is a success at 125USD
Should I still wait or.. ? Do I still have the time?
Thanks in advance. I'd definitely use the link from this site to do all the PRICELINE bidding.

Sorry can't really remember since we did the reservation so long ago and the price would not be relevant as now too.
