After clicking on PRICELINE link from this site, I did the following: Attempted several bids for Washington, DC areas with no luck. Then saw that there were winning bids for the Dulles airport area of Virginia and was surprised that these were not listed under Washington, DC. Bid 1: Dulles South-Chantilly ... $39 ... Rejected Bid 2: Added Dulles North ....... $40 ... Rejected Bid 3: Added Fairfax .............. $42 ... Rejected Bid 4: Added Manassas .......... $44 ... Accepted! Total price with taxes and fees: $105.56 In the topic title I put down the listing as received from PRICELINE on the winning bid. I am assuming this was Dulles North area but not sure.

After checking this site for Las Vegas , used link to go to PRICELINE. Several unsuccessful bids at $50 and $55 for 4* then 3.5* in several areas near strip. Bid $60 for 4* in Airport LAS area and was accepted ... all in total is $75.11. At hotel's web site, same room is $94.08 all in.

After checking this site, I decided to try for Residence Inn in Brownsville for $44. Using the PRICELINE link, I then: Bid $42, 3*, South Padre Island - no dice Bid $43, 2.5*, South Padre Island - no dice Bid $44 and added Brownsville - no dice Bid $35 and added 2* Got Days Inn - $127.71 all in (3 nights) Days Inn rate on their site using senior rate is $56.10 and total stay would have been $190.18 This hotel needs to be added to Priceline list in this area

After reviewing bid history at this site and using the link to PRICELINE: Struck out bidding in Hickory-Statesville 2* at $35 Struck out bidding in Winston Salem 1* at $28 Won 3.5* Hilton Durham Near Duke University at $40 first bid ($52.92 all in)

Using the PRICELINE link from Betterbidding.com, I attempted a bid of 25$ for Cary South. PRICELINE returned that immediate rebid was available for $6 more. I rebid at $28 and included Raleigh. Won bid. Total all in was $39.05. Thanks Betterbidding! :)

Used PRICELINE.com link at top of forum page to go to Priceline. Bid $33 for 3* Pittsburgh Airport area and was accepted first bid. Price all in $121.39 for 3 nights

You are correct. This is listed as a 2* hotel by Priceline. My apologies.

Using the PRICELINE.com link from betterbidding.com I bid $50 for 3* hotel at LAX and was rejected. Added Santa Monica/Marina Del Ray at $55 and got Crowne Plaza for 2 nights for $110 + $24.

Needed hotel for one night for February 7. On Priceline bid $37 for 3* hotel at Indianapolis airport. No takers. Then added Speedway area and upped bid to $39. No takers. Then added 2.5* and left bid at $39. Amerisuites at airport accepted.

Needed hotel in downtown Cincinnati 6/17 for 2 nights. Started bidding $35 for a 3* in Downtown. Rejected. Added Fort Mitchell (free rebid zone) and upped bid to $37. Rejected. Changed bid to 6/17 for 1 night and raised bid to $38. Got Hyatt for: $38 + 13.34 taxes/fees = $51.34 Called Priceline Customer Service and told them I needed same hotel for a second night. They sent me an email with a link to add more nights to my existing reservation. Tried $38 again but rejected. Was then offered $46 which I accepted. So Sat. night is $46 + 14.74 taxes and fees = $60.74. Most rates advertised were $99 for Fri. and $109 for Sat.
