Oh yes, I forgot.. We already bid up to $119 on Priceline, but all our attempts failed so far. We haven't had any counteroffers either. Our budget is about $125 per night, but a little higher than that is still OK. However, the price should not exceed $140 per night.

I am planning to visit SF with my girlfriend from August 16 - August 18. We would like to stay in the Union Square Neighborhood (or Fisherman's Wharf area, but there are no 4* hotels there). What should be a reasonable price to start bidding at Priceline for a 4* hotel in these areas? I saw someone 'won' the Inter-Continental Mark Hopkins for $115. Is that a price to aim at, or should I bid higher for these dates? Any other suggestions are more than welcome :)
