I just won a 2 1/2* at Denver Airport for $60 for Thursday night Aug 10. Got Ambassador Hotel (not thrilled). Have been bidding for a week for that area. Had no luck with 3 1/2 or 3 star up to $60,even though got alerts from priceline that others had won in that area for $50+ so changed star level. Was hoping for HI Express or the likes. Oh well.
We are coming from the East (Nebraska) and will be flying out early Thur morning so really want to be close to airport. Not sure what more to do. Have rec'd a couple of alerts that someone won a room at airport for 3.5* in the $50's, but i can't BID NOW on that same deal as I have to wait 24 hours. Frustrating. I could go down to 2.5* but if people are getting 3.5* for that price....
