  1. I saw the opposite. I bid $60 for a 3* hotel in the Universal area of Orlando and it was rejected. I then found out about hotwire and it offered me a 3* hotel for $43!! (I'm at the hotel Clarior now and it's a bit dumpy for 3*).
  2. I won this for $43 a night 2/22 through 2/25. It's about 5 miles from SeaWorld. On the edge of dumpy for a 3 star/diamond hotel. There are no king or queen size beds available for the hotwire price - only two full size beds in each room. There is free internet access (my room had wireless access and ethernet connection.) If all you want is a room to sleep in at night this hotel should be OK, but it's certainly nothing fancy. There is no free breakfast - the buffet which is only fair is $7.95 per person. The 100% oranage juice has never seen an orange IMHO.
  3. Nights of 8/19/2003 & 8/20/2003 $50 per night accepted - Cocoa Beach Hilton. Tried $46 on the 18th & 19th and then $50 changing the date (because I decided that the 19/20 was better!)
  4. I tried 7/30/2003 for three nights but no luck. 8/4/03-8/7/03 $75 per night
