I have a question on rebidding (I checked the thread on re-bidding but was still unsure, figured I would ask here). If I were to start my bids at the 4 star level, then re-bid at 3 stars, could I then go back to the 4 star level with a re-bid or would I have to wait 24 hours?

Are those the list prices or the amounts people have bid for those dates?

I appreciate the help btw. I've never stayed in the area so my friend and I are kind of going down there with blind eyes.

Do you have any estimates as to how much I would have to bid for a 2 or 3 star hotel in the Jersey City zone?

Would the Seacaucus-North Bergen area or Meadowlands-Rutherford area be ok to add rebidding zones? My friend and I could always take the train or bus to NYC as well, or drive to the Jersey City ferry each day.

$100 is my maximum bid at all levels. I will probably try for a 2 star level first. The ferry is actually for a concert in NYC that weekend on Governors Island, but the exact dock hasn't been released yet. It is listed as "Jersey City" though.

I would actually prefer to try for a lower rated hotel first. Looking at the hotel list for this area there are some decent options at 2 and 3 stars. I'd prefer to stay closest to Liberty State Park or the waterfront, as I'll be taking a ferry from there each day.

Star rating doesn't matter so much. My friend and I just need a place to lay our head at night.

Hi there, New to the boards and to the bidding process so bear with me. I'm looking to stay in Jersey City for the two nights of August 26th and 27th for a weekend trip to NYC. My max bid per night will probably be about $100. Looking for any tips or info on these particular dates, or any winning bids for properties in the area.
