Tried for $80 for the 21st to 23rd and was declined. Tried $85 for the 21st only and got the Doubletree. Not bad for this hotel, but not a huge steal. I think Sunday's typically go for $100-120.
bid $74 didn't win 3.5*. was offered $90 "Express Deal" for 4*....plus get 5% off for promo. so 85.50. Accepted. Hotel was Crowne Plaza. I'm fine with $85.50 but wasn't the CP formerly a 3.5*? Seems they promoted it.
Last month hit the Radisson LAX for $85 midweek, this time, since was closer in, bid $75 for 3.5* @ LAX. But hit with the 4-star Hilton. I think a great price for this hotel. Much nicer than the Radisson.
Based on some earlier results here, tried for several cycles at $59 to $66, nothing accepted. Finally PL offered me a chance to increase my bid to $84. Was accepted at the Radisson LAX. Been to that hotel and $84 is reasonable. Mid-week can get pricey on Century Blvd if any big groups around.
