Tr8derJoe, did the Hotel turn out to be one of the predicted locations?

Tried to extend my visit one night 9/23/2013-9/24/2013. $60 for 3.5* in Fullerton/Brea was rejected. upped the bid to $62. Instead of adding a "safe zone" I accidentally clicked the Disneyland/Anaheim Convention Center/Garden Grove zone. It was accepted for $62 + $16.12 (priceline fees) = $78.12 total. But considering the TENS of hotels in a few square mile radius in this area, I am sure you can bid for a lower price. Oh, and it sucked that this hotel - Crown Plaza Resort - adds a $16.03 MANDATORY "hospitality fee" (which they claim is for use of their wifi, parking, etc) upon check-in. Apparently this is in the fine print. Pretty unexpected charge.

Needed a hotel/motel near Walnut, CA for Sunday 9/22/2013 - Tuesday 9/24/2013. Tried bidding $44-48/night ($112-$120 with tax + priceline fees) with no luck. Went on to the Fullerton/Brea and just jumped the bid to $60, which was accepted. $60 + 15.80(priceline fee) = $75.80/night

Looking for ~$50/night. Now searching as far as Fullerton.

Last minute booking the night before, so I didnt have time to bid by zones. A few attempts upto $65/night, as low as 2* in all Manhattan zones were rejected. I jumped the bid to $85 ($110 total with priceline fees) and was accepted in Times Square.
