Today was my first attempts at using priceline and betterbidding.

I was trying to find something at newport RI for a long time and

got frustrated after too many unsuccessful trials and bidded on

providence downtown 4* for 07/16-17 for 85$. I got The Westin

Providence in my first try. Should have probably started with less but

still happy with the purchase.

Here goes my first post on the forum. This was not fun at all.

Rejected 07/17-18 Goat Island - Newport & Newport Beach 3.5* $71

Rejected after adding Middletown at $75 (I shouldnt have added middletown, my intention was to add kingston, very gland that this did not work)

Rejected after adding South Kingstown and deleting middletown at $80

Rejected after lowering to 3* at $80

I was flexible with dates and modified to my travel to 07/16-18

Rejected 07/16-18 Goat Island - Newport & Newport Beach 3.5-Star $90

Rejected after adding South Kingstown at$95

Lowered to 3* and deleted kingston at $97, still unsuccessful

I gave up on this and bidded on providence downtown 4* for 07/16-17 for 85$ and got The Westin Providence in my first try.

A couple of hours later I tried $107 3.5* at goat island for 07/17-18 (should't priceline not allow this?) and ended with Marriott Newport Rhode Island
