I never thought of Monte Carlo. Seems pretty decent. I'm actually chaning my dates to 8/3 to 8/7, can't really tell which hotel is the Monte Carlo. Looks like they are in the South Strip.

Budget is up to $175, a room with 4 occupants. Looking for 4 star, accept 3.5. Mandaly has the beach wave pool that is kid friendly. Might have to look into Mirage or Tahiti.

Just wondering why I can't get into the Mandalay Bay for these dates, is there a big convention or something? Need a kid friendly hotel at the last moment, this was it!

As always I plan the family vacation late. This was a real task in that we were hoping to get something downtown for the 4th. I started with 4* hotels at $120, went all the way up to $190, no luck. Changed to 3* stars at $130, then went to $140 and got the Courtyard San Diego. Not my first choice but still not far from Downtown, Coronado and Mission Bay. Now on to plan for Disneyland!

I would stay there again as this place was in a great location. Rooms were a little older but great service and a huge room with everything you need. It was clean and easy access to the car. I had never stayed in Sedona, now thanks to this booking, I will go back again.

Just staying one night and it accepted our first bid.

I just tried today to get this hotel for 7/27-7/30, bid $110 for 4* on Coronado, rejected. I then selected Downtown area as well, rejected. Was curious what dates you used? I really want this hotel! Thanks, SES

We won for the dates of 7/23-7/25 for $90. Yes it does fall within the bounds, if you look very very closely, but still this should not be in the vicinity of the South strip.

I've used betterbidding for 3 years now and have always satisfied. Well we finally got bit with this one. We selected the Strip South (key work the STRIP) and a 4 star hotel. Our very first bid of $90 was accepted by a hotel that I've never even knew existed, they reason is, because it's not even on the strip. Its almost 3 huge blocks away from the strip and isn't really a great place to be walking with a family at night. Very concerned about this.
