  1. Tried and failed in Downtown and Downtown East.  Was going to book as a backup the Townplace Suites *2.5 at  $129 but we decided we rather stay 2 nights.  Happy enough (although sad not downtown) with the Four Points.  Free 24 hour shuttle to the Mall and light rail which goes downtown.  Also free wifi and parking, which really adds to the costs downtown.  Vikings and Packers game so downtown is off limits with priceline. With the good hotel price maybe we'll go to the game!  Thanks for all your help.

  2. I hadn't seen the BiddingHelper.com before, cool (I haven't been here in a while)  The $78 is now $75 and full amenities are :FULL AMENITIES: Free parking, Free breakfast, Free Internet, Business center, Self-service laundry, Internet access

There is now one for $95 with a 80% satisfaction rate.  Yes I would be happier with that of course.  Amenities: FULL AMENITIES: Free parking, Free Internet, Airport shuttle, Restaurant(s), Business center, Self-service laundry, Internet access, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Roll-in shower

Our flight doesn't get in until 8pm and then grab luggage and travel to the hotel...so we will do nothing but sleep there and leave in the AM.

    Thanks for the tips.

  3. Thereuare,

    Thanks for your reply.

It is a 3 night stay. The correct dates are June 19,20 and 21.  We may have to venture further away from Dwtn as the prices on HOTWIRE and PRICELINE EXPRESS deals are $300 minimum... and this is an add on weekend to our trip to Alaska.

Maybe I can find out how far the bus goes out of Dwtn. from the Seattle transit website.

I understand this is high season for Seattle.  I'd like something 100-200. With this trip,as far as stars..... as long as it's safe and clean I'm ok with less stars.

    Thanks again.

  4. Thanks for the reply.  I do remember Vegas being much more reasonable.  The food will be hard because I'm a huge foodie! Would love to go to some of the famous chef's but will check out the happy hour idea and maybe lunch for the high end ones.  Will tell her about the links, thanks again.

  5. Kind of an odd situation.  My friend and I booked a package through Allegiant to Vegas Mar. 17-20.  We are staying at the MGM Grand.  She has decided for a couple of reasons she wants to get her own room. Cheap of course because the package was cheap.  MGM is out of basic king rooms.  The Excalibur across the street is 196.00 for 3 nights. Hot.wire and PRICELINE South strip zones include a lot of hotels blocks away from the MGM and we want them close together.

Any suggestions?  Also, it's been years since I've been to vegas and wondering if the pros here have any suggestions for great food that doesn't break the bank!  Or places to get discounts on good restaurants.

Sorry this is a bit off topic.  Thanks for any suggestions!

  6. Found them, thanks

  7. I am helping a friend for a stay in Orlando. Jan.23-30. No luck so far with priceline with multiple bids and dropping off the 7th night. She would like to stay around $80. We been bidding on the I-drive N, I-drive S, and buena vista areas. Have bid to $90.

I don't know much about the area, suggestions? This is a no children trip for relaxation. Is downtown an option as far as resort type hotels or is that area primarily business hotels?

There is a hotwire for downtown at $83 for *4. Amenities

Free Internet ,Smoke Free Rooms, Fitness Center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s) ,Business Center, Internet access, •Accessible for the blind •Accessible for the deaf

    or a *3.5 in I-drive S for $67. Amenities

Pet friendly, Smoke Free Rooms, Fitness Center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business Center ,Self service laundry, Internet access ,Spa Services

or a *3.5 Lake Buena Vista for &74. Amenities

Free Parking ,Fitness Cente,r Pool(s) ,Restaurant(s) ,Business Center, Self service laundry, Internet access, Golf Nearby, Accessibility

    •Accessible for the blind

Wondering if to be successful with priceline if we need to drop down to *3.5? If we could ID on hotwire she would love that.

Thanks in advance. Have been searching from your links.
