This was a Priceline bid. Started with Downtown 4 star at $282. No luck. Added Capitol Hill. No luck. Added 3.5 star at $284 and this is what I got.

Mid-May must be busy in DC because I had to work hard to get a win. More than I would have liked to spend, but cheaper than retail. Amenities listed: Indoor Pool Non-Smoking Gym Restaurant Handicap Accessible Business Center Not a good week to try to get a deal in DC. Availability was a problem. It's not a great deal, but it isn't retail either. Should be a good location for sightseeing.

After lots of unsuccessful bids on Washington DC hotels for the second part of our vacation, I'm glad I got Baltimore taken care of on my first try.This looks like a good location.

Thanks for the heads up. We have a mid-morning flight back to the states so we may take advantage of the early bird coffee if available.

My first bid was $70 and was accepted. Taxes and fees bring total to $85.01. I booked this tonight.
