Looking for advice on 2 different 3.5* in downtown Norfolk:
Option A: $59
Amenities: Free Internet, Pet friendly, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Self-service laundry, Internet access, Golf nearby, Spa services, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower
35% recommendation
3.5 Trip Advisor globes (301-500 reviews)
Option B: $70
Amenities: Pet friendly, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Self-service laundry, Internet access, Golf nearby, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower
80% recommendation
3.5 Trip Advisor globes (501-1000 reviews)
Now my initial assumption is that A is the Wyndham Garden and B is the Sheraton. This is mainly because the Trip Advisor reviews match.
But the Wyndham Garden has better written reviews on Trip Advisor and many more Excellent ratings than the Sheraton. The recent reviews for the Sheraton are just brutal. So there's a big disconnect between the Hotwire recommendation ratings and the Trip Advisor info.
