A little late to post, but on the day of I bid on a 3.5 star at the New Orleans airport on PRICELINE. Got the Crowne Plaza Hotel for $65. This was a couple days ago but I think my first bid was $60, then upped it to $65 and got it. $82.49 after taxes and fees.

Started at $50 and worked my way up, got accepted at $165 at the hotel we wanted - Intercontinental. Usually $260 per night on their website. Thanks!

Merry Christmas - not many people out there looking to priceline on Christmas night I'm sure, but we are flying out very early tomorrow so went for a room tonight at Houston Hobby Airport. Starting the bidding at $30, got our hotel on our second bid of $35 for a 3 star. Four Points by Sheraton Houston Hobby Airport, $35 per night for one night. Used the PRICELINE link as always.

Not sure if this information is helpful, but I was going for a 3.5* in Atlantic City NJ for Saturday 8/27 - looking to be in the zone called "Atlantic City Area" 3 other zones had no 3.5* or better so I had 8 bids (I think I did that math right) I bid 140 up to 210, bidding by 10 each time and no luck. I coudl book directly for $298, so I was looking for at least 30% discount. no luck, but I've got a week and will rebid when i'm able to and update the board. Also I did use the PRICELINE link. Thanks for the great board.
