Looks like the wife says definately in Lincoln Park. We have a back up of $150.00 a night, which is much higher than we would like but not a lot of options. Will now need two beds so looks like will go with hotwire, the only hotel they have is $130.00 3 star with the following Complimentary Breakfast, Fitness Center, Golf Nearby , it is not listed as any hotel on the list for Lincoln park, any ideals, thanks for all the help.

March 3 and 4th. I would like to keep it under $85. including parking a night. How long of a drive in from the suburbs?

Hi, I need some help finding on a zone for visiting a son at Depaul. We normally stay at the Days Inn that is really close and give a fair discount for visiting parents. Lincoln park has few other reasonably priced choices. What would be a couple of other zones that are only a few minutes from Depaul? We will be driving.

Sorry if I have made this confusing, I am arriving October 11 Saturday Returning October 18. Since weekend is so expensive I was going to find something cheap for Saturday night, Then 12-17 Sunday - Thursday stay on strip, then again something cheap for Friday night. I have the Orleans booked as a backup so I wanted to find the 12-17 first at a good price and if not just stick with the Orleans Most I want to pay for 12-17 is $70 Plane tickets are already booked, Looking back it would have made more sense to fly in Sunday to Sunday.

I already am splitting, bidding Sunday to friday, I will have to move twice.

Going out October 11th - Oct 18. Figured I would get cheap weekday and fill in the more expensive weekend 2 rooms. I want to stay at 4 star on the strip but will also take Rio west of strip. I have the Orleans ( off strip 3 Star) booked as a backup, 46 night weekdays and around 100 for weekend October must be more expensive, I have plenty of time to wait or find specials. I was hoping to leave the vehicle at a path station and park there. Was not sure how difficult it will be to get luggage to the pier. We are traveling light enough I was hoping it might be possible, I got a down load of the different garages and the prices, not sure which would be the easiest at the best price. I saw garages with prices as low as $5.00 a day, but am not sure how difficult they are to get to the pier. Any reccommendations would be greatly appriciated.

Saw the review on the econo lodge, can't believe I was considering. Booked the Candlewood through the link for 109, I would still like to find a room rate at $75.00 or under without giving up too much convienience of a easy commute to NY city. Any final recommendations for an area other than Jersey City with reasonable access to new york city. Thanks again

Candlewood shows no availability, did find a econo lodge ( not my first choice ) rated as a 2 star, in Jersey City. Do you know how this rates in actual quality and convienience.

I see your point, I have traveled through the subway (tube) in London and Paris with Luggage, but didn't have as much to carry and didn't have much of a choice. Leaving the vehicle at the pier does make more sense compared to all the additional effort. Still need a hotel for 1 night in New york City, looking for just basic room, Jersey City still looks as the best option, can you reccommend any other area to find reasonable ($75.00) or under room accomedations with easy transportation to New York

from the path link below, they show several parking facilities, an example is journal square at the middlesex terminal shows parking $4.00 dailly rate open 24 hours and a $80.00 mthly rate. I was going to park in Jersey City, Parking at the pier is $18 a day it looks like I can park at a path station for a much lower price.

Sorry for the confusion. We want to stay in Jersey City and leave vehicle there and visit New York city on June 11th only. 2 rooms I bid $75.00 for 3Star Jersey City, rejected,added Secaucus and dropped to 2 1/2 star rejected $77.00. I have a backup $129 at courtyard. Not sure what to do. Should I wait 72 hours and increase bid, can you give any advice.
