Tried to get the same hotel for my parents but won Delta instead, which is only 3 minutes from the hotel we are staying at (Residence Inn Markham). Won at $70, first bid. Hotel is great, having stayed there before, with everything included but breakfast.

Tried at $70, won on first bid. This hotel is great asit is centrally located (in Markham) and includes hot breakfast, pool, Wi-Fi and parking.

Used the PRICELINE Tried $60 for 3.5*, and then added 3* and won at $52. Thank you for your help. Pleasant surprise with the win since the hotel includes breakfast and a pool!

Goal was 2 specific nights in Markham. I don't know if I did it in the most ideal fashion but I'll post how I got there. (But I do remember a few years ago that I tried to extend my stay through priceline and failed.) I went through alot of nerve-racking rebids, so would appreciate any advice to better my process. Last year I won a bid for $28, same hotel, and I was very happy. Prices work out to be $43CDN/room/night (taxes in) as opposed to $140CDN (taxes in) on Expedia.ca. :)

Hi I started my bid for June 10-12 at $26 for a 3*. Got rejected. Changed it to 2.5*, changed the date to June 10-11 and upped the bid to $28. Got accepted. I used the "add a night option"and got accepted. Final reservations: $28US/night, taxes $9.56US/night for 2 nights. I've live in Ontario, and passed by this hotel. It's rather nice, pretty new and wouldn't consider it the same rating as Travelodge, or a Comfort Inn or other discount brand hotels.
