Thank you very much. Your information is very helpful. I would like to get a room in USW or USE within 100/night. Financial District, Civic north and SOMA within 90/night. I don't know whether Civic south zone is good place to stay and convenient to travel. We have 3 people (adults) so maybe that's why I can't find 3.5* hotel in the USW zone for 98/nite... Maybe I can try later to see if there is still space for more discount?

I am going to stay in SF 4/30/13- 5/2/13. I can't get a room (2 star ) near Union Square (USW+USE) below $100. Since my budget is tight, I also tried other zones near union square. But I failed again to get a room (2 star) near Financial District, Civic north and SOMA with $85. I checked the price of express the 2 star will be around $105 but no one is in USE or USW. I have already booked Mayflower about 110/night as backup plan so at least I can get a room in a good location with tight budget. Any suggestion? How can I get a little bit cheaper room around center SF (I do not require star level, as long as the room is clean and private) ? Thank you :-)

It is weird. Some people even can get a good deal in oct. But my guess is you may have to wait till it is close enough to get a good deal. At that time, the hotel might offer some real deal... Just a guess :)

Next week I will go to Lollapalooza Festival. And I know it sounds crazy that until this late I realize that I have to book a hotel during such busy days.. There are 3 adults. so are we allowed to stay in one room (Priceline only provide # of room instead of # of guests)? My plan is as long as we could get the rooms below $150-180 per night (3* ?) around that area or somewhere near that area. And I am thinking maybe we could live somewhere in suburban area like Schaumburg (20 min drive to downtown) to save some bucks. However I am worried about the parking. or maybe somewhere near Airport where we could take CTA train to downtown? Many thanks!

Hi I am looking for hotels near LGA. I have flight around 6:00 am so I have to live somewhere near to LGA. All hotels is fine with me as long as it is really near to LGA but better 3* and up. And my budget is tight at the moment.. So max around $70-80 per night. I assume there is slight chance for me to get 3* hotel at this price range.. Asking for help! :) or other suggestions...

If I tried several days and it still doesn't work for me. I guess I will choose a 3*+ (there are still 2 chances of rebid)or 3 * to try... And I am wondering if the price will change during this month. Glad to know that hotels in this zone is convenient to travel! P.S I think Aug is not really popular season for most of the tourists... And my stay is during weekdays.. I was actually a little bit surprised by the price. Thanks!

Hi I plan to stay at Jersey city and visit NYC. I tried to find a 4* hotel there and bid several times.. However no luck for me.. Even I increased my bid up to $90. And that's my max bid I can offer and there are 2 people. 3* hotel is fine with me. But I guess there is just one chance I can rebid. I really don't want to bid somewhere far away from PATH. Your suggestion will be really helpful for me and also for the LGA area too. Thanks!
