  1. This bid is for one night in Atlantic City, NJ on 8/14/06 . I started with $ 70.00 for a 3* and was rejected. I added the Somers Point, Ocean City area and increasd the price by $ 10.00. With taxes and fees, the total charge is just under $ 100.00.
  2. I got this on the first try. I eyeballed it by looking at previous posts. My bid was $ 65 for a 3* and they gave me the 4* Sheraton Gateway. So.. for that date, a few $$$ less would have done the trick(I think). Your Offer Price: $65.00 Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Nights: 1 Subtotal: $65.00 Taxes & Service Fees: $16.79 Total Charges: $81.79.
  3. Thanks. That's what i thought. I can remember when we arrived in MIA from Chile, they gave us our suitcases to go through customs. Then we gave them back to the airline to complete our trip within US territory. I think that,I could have just walked out of the place and not given them the suitcases. Anybody else pull this off succesfully?
  4. I have a one way international flight from asia arriving in SAN. However, the ticket that I bought has me booked on another flight to LAX a few hours later. I DO NOT WANT to take that SAN to LAX flight. My question is.... "Can I walk out of the airport WITH MY BAGS after I clear customs and immigration or will I have to give back my bags to United and ride to LAX to pick them up?" (I would throw away the SAN to LAX leg) Reason why I did not book flight just to SAN: Long story but it had to do with price of the ticket.
  5. Take a look at other posts that DID decide to split their bids., and see how much they saved. I am thinking of bidding for Las Vegas but they say that weekends are more expensive. So, perhaps i will split my bid. The WORST that can happen is that you have to change hotels in the middle of your stay.
  6. I had bid $ 60 for a 3* several days ago and was rejected, went down to a 2 1/2 and was also rejected. So I sat in the penalty box for 3 days and came back today. I was also banned from the "other" site. Today, I started with $ 75 for a 4* and was rejected. So, I went down to 3* and kept the $ 75.00 bid. So, I got the Crowne Plaza LAX. Your Offer Price: $75.00 Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Nights: 3 Subtotal: $225.00 Taxes & Service Fees: $41.79 Total Charges: $266.79
