  1. Another good idea is to book a cancelable room at a price you can tolerate and try to bid again as your trip nears. At least you've got a back up that way! I found the red lion for 15% off and triple points (if you become one of their members) but they have $14/day parking and $1/day resort fee. I found the code from poking around on their website.
  2. Hotwire is showing $76 per night 11/2-11/2012 for Anaheim Disneyland South. Recommended 90% reviews. Amenities: Pool(s) Laundry Facilities (self-service) High-Speed Internet Access Free Parking If you have any other ideas for helping me find something for $832 max for 9 nights, including parking I'd appreciate it. I'm also willing to Priceline and I have a thread going over there... Thanks!
  3. Disneyland 11/2-11/11 11/2-11/2012 3.5* Bid # Price Area 1 $43 Disneyland South 2 $47 Anaheim Hills 3 $48 Buena Park 4 $50 Cypress 5 $52 Laguna Beach 6 $54 Lake Forest 7 $56 North Huntington 8 $58 San Clemente 9 $60 Seal Beach I'm not sure what I'm going to do. I may rebid the area. I've been watching Hotwire and for all of our dates and they're steady at $77. I would assume I might need to bid up to $67 on priceline. I want to pay no more than $740, including parking for our entire stay. Most of the hotels in the area charge for parking.
  4. Please help me identify 3* Disneyland South. Dates: 1/10/12-1/21/12 Amenities: Pool(s), Business Center, Laundry Facilities (self-service) Recommended in 80% of Hotwire reviews. Free Parking, Free Breakfast, Free Internet $73 per night. $114 other sites. 2 Adults. Is it possibly Ayres? Thanks!
  5. Review of our stay 8/8-14/2011 (did not stay night of 8/8 but got there at 9 a.m. and went straight to our room.) The Anaheim/Orange Doubletree was a nice hotel to stay at. Funny thing is that after I walked in the door I realized we
  6. The only bummer is that I got the same hotel on Priceline for $55 a night for the same dates.
  7. You're welcome. To clarify, we bid for one room on 8/9. We were happy with the hotel we received so we decided to bid again for the 8/10-14 leg but this time 2 rooms. We didn't have other family coming until 8/10. We are happy to have the same hotel! We added 8/8 because we have a red eye flight and will arrive at the hotel around 9 a.m. Rather than risk not getting an early check in we just paid for another night through priceline. It's half price anyway. =)

  10. Won this at PRICELINE. Doubletree by Hilton Hotel Anaheim-Orange County 100 The City Drive Orange, CA 92868 3.5* Anaheim-South-Orange-Garden Grove
  11. 3.5* win $57 8/10-14/11 2 rooms (Disneyland-Garden Grove) Doubletree 100 The City Drive Total with fees: 528.08. $13/night parking per car free shuttle DL Thanks, betterbidding, for the tips!
  12. After fees $69.57. I was able to add the previous day. I don't know which area this was in, unfortunately. I marked 4*, added DL north and south, marked 3.5, added anaheim hills. i believe my bidding started at $41.
  13. If this one is Manchester Holiday Inn (guessing from hotel list posted) would it include complimentary breakfast? Thanks. Anaheim 8/10-8/13 2 adults 2 children 3* Disneyland south 63/night Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Laundry Internet Tennis
  14. :) Anaheim 8/9-8/13 2 adults 2 3.5* Disneyland south 66/night Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Internet 3 Disneyland south 63/night Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Laundry Internet Tennis 3* Disneyland north 83/night Smoke free fitness Pool Restaurant Business Laundry internet Thank you!!!! :)
  15. :) Need help please identifying these hotels: Anaheim 8/10-8/13 2 adults 2 children 3* Disneyland south 63/night Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Laundry Internet Tennis 3* Disneyland north 86/night Pool 3.5* Disneyland south 91/night Smoke free Pool Restaurant Business Laundry internet THANK YOU!!!!!
  16. I don't think I'd be happy at the Doubletree Arctic for that price. Currently you can PRICELINE Seattle pretty easily with 10 tries using re-bid zones. Something should be available for $100-121 that would be better than that hotel.
  17. Bid #1 Seattle Pike $40 rejected. Bid #2 added Bothell, $45 rejected. Bid #3 added Kirkland, $50 rejected. Bid #4 added Lake Union, $55 rejected. Bid #5 added Lynnwood, $60 rejected. Bid #6 added Mukilteo, $65 rejected. Bid #7 added N Everett, $70 rejected. Bid #8 added Renton $75 rejected. Bid #9 added Airport $80 rejected. Bid #10 added University $85 rejected. I'm willing to pay $100 a night. However, this trip is far away and I just thought I'd try to get something lower since the process for Seattle downtown 4* is pretty fun anyway. =) I might try again next month. Otherwise, closer to our stay!
  18. After reading up at this site I decided to do an early bid attempt for a visit 3/29-4/2. I started out the bid with these dates. Bid #1 $50 rejected. Bid #2 added Bothell, $55 rejected. Bid #3 added Kirkland, $60 rejected. Bid #4 added Lake Union, $65 rejected. Bid #5 added Lynnwood, $70 rejected. Bid #6 added Mukilteo, $75 rejected. Bid #7 added N Everett, $80 rejected. Bid #8 added Renton $85 rejected. This one I also changed the dates to 3/30-4/2 as I remembered I have some airline mile points to use. Bid #9 added Airport $90 rejected. At this point my total bill for 3 nights will be a little over $300. My max is $345 so I'll hold out! Might try using Hotwire tomorrow. Never done that before. Did Priceline before without knowledge. Ended up at the Westin, which creeped out fellow traveler because the buildings move with the wind (must be earthquake protection). Hope we don't end up there even though it is a plush hotel! We might be able to get a convention discounted room somewhere also. At the very least I can book through them and try for a lower price closer to our trip dates. Thanks for having this board in order for us to check out dates and such. I realize I had Univ left and Seattle Center (if I'd settle for Pan Pacific, which looks awesome but far away from convention center). So next time I might start my bids at $40/night. Even though obviously I doubt I'd get that! (I went to PRICELINE through your link!) LOL
