grrr.. the 4.5* went away.
The Knickerbocker's reviews have improved since remodel - there have been a couple of instances though of the hotel not offering two beds to PRICELINE guests, and the service does not guarantee two beds. However, if you aren't able to transfer the reservation, then you could try to work something out with the hotel and pay an upgrade fee (usually diff between room w/1 and 2 beds), which would be cheaper than another booking. Please let us know what you decide and if you have any additional questions. Additionally, it would be greatly appreciated if you could post the details of the Knickerbocker win as a separate thread, as the information can help other users. PRICELINE made me up my original bid of around $115~ can't remember exactly what the orginal bid was.
Was able to previously get it for $100 for july 4-6, see this thread:
Booked via priceline the Millenium Knickerbocker Hotel, $100/night for 7/4-7/6..added a third night (7/3) for $135.. I think I had bid 100 but they asked me to accept for a certain amount.
I booked the Millenium Knickerbocker a while back on PRICELINE, and I have 3 guests.. and it seems they will only let me have one bed, so I am thinking about choosing another location.. I understand PL is nonrefundable..but thinking I have a friend who may take that other booking.

My max budget is about 350/night. I'm typically looking for the best of what I can get for the price, and would prefer an on-site hotel. I'm also opening to moving my departing date forward 1-2 days.
