  1. We can drink legally at age 18 in our province, so I don't think it will matter whether you're 21 or not, as long as you're 18.
  2. "we were there and asked to be moved because it was as bad as you can possibly imagine." Either you have much higher standards than I do, or my room was better even though in the old part, or they've really let themselves go since I went there. I've seen much worse than that Days Inn. I agree however that the 3* is deceptive because it's very unlikely they'll put a Hotwire customer in that part of the hotel.
  3. I've been there, and I can tell you that there's a part that's 3 stars (well, 2
  4. Got the hotel I wanted, with my 1st bid. Probably should've bid lower, but $45 is still a great rate. :) Used Savingsbarn.com.
  5. Bid $50, didn't work. Bid $55 72 hours later, got it.
  6. It's Wyndham, got it for $65, and used "GIFTCARD06" to get $10 off. I'd have preferred the Doubletree, but Wyndham will do. :)
  7. Hi, I'd really appreciate your help. I'm looking to get a room in Wilmington, DE. Check-in: 06/30; Check-out: 07/01. There's a 3.5* that comes up at $66. "Selected amenities include: Restaurant(s), Pool(s), Fitness Center." Any idea? Thanks :)
  8. Hi, New here and to Priceline. Got Sheraton National in Arlington, VA, for $55. Can I get the history of my bids anywhere on Priceline? I'd like to post it (as I've now found out you wish for it to be posted), but didn't keep track of what I did, and can't find it anywhere on PL. Anyway, I did as I learned here: bid on/added one zone at a time. Began at $35 in "White House - Downtown", gradually going up to $55 in $5 increments. Questions I have: 1. Have Canadians who've used PL ever encountered any problems when checking in at the hotel? I mean, part of the address is false ("State" and "Zip")? 2. We are 4 adults. When I visit the Sheraton website, I see that the room, for 2, is $134. The same room, for the same nights, for 4 adults, is $194. Does this mean we will be forced to pay $115 instead of $55??? Thank you for your service and your answers.
