I started with a $50 bid for a 3.5* hotel, rejected, then moved down to a 3* and scored this hotel. I'm coming to town to participate in a 24 hour race and I think this hotel will suit my needs perfectly. I always love using the excellent information on this board and started bidding using your PRICELINE link.

I followed the lead provided by pooh0513's Seattle priceline win, stated with 'Downtown - Pike Place' and 3*. I felt like I could only make two bids today because the only free rebid zone is Kirland (2.5*). My first bid was $52, accepted, taxes and fee's $14.94, total $66.94. I used the PRICELINE link at the top. As always, thanks for the help!

I'm looking for one night hotel stay, September 17th, downtown before taking Amtrak to Vancouver to catch a Princess cruise back to LA. Please continue to post your bidding failures/success and I'll do the same. Good Luck!

I've been looking a long time, not much has shown up for these dates. I had a backup reservation at the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina for $134/night and am happy to cancel that given the poor reviews.

I've been trying to do the same for a Pre-Cruise hotel, 3/20 to 3/22, with no success, this must be a busy weekend. The only hotel I've seen people win even close to the beach this same weekend is the Hyatt Place, 3 star, in the Downtown zone for $70/night. I have a cancelable reservation at the Hilton Marina for $127/night and have bid as high as $120/night on PRICELINE. Good luck, please post your results and I'll do the same.
