Just found this site after I already won these rooms... I've used priceline for years and have often gotten the $35 Hilton rooms at various locations... I've used similar strategies to figure out which hotels are which but never followed the 24hr rebid rule nor ever switched my star ratings or locations or the other rather complicated methods outlined here... I always kept my CC info loaded in my profile and if my bid was rejected I simply started over without closing my browser... back to the priceline start page and all my dates would still be saved in the previous search drop down... even my CC info is saved in a drop down because I'm logged in... this time I targeted any of the 5* Hotels in strip south and started at my normal $35 bid... took about 15mins and landed 6 rooms for $80/night at Vdara... it'll be fun to check out the new Hotel that was being built last time I was in Vegas... I'll definitely use this site next time especially for figuring out which hotels are which.
