Bid for a 4 star hotel and I've got a 5star :)
Thru PRICELINE (with your link).
Much lower price that in any other place.
Started my bids from 70, raised 5$ each time choosing Miami beach, N.Miami Beach and non 4* regions, after 90$ I raised 2$ more, then 3$ then 2$ and got 97$ per night.
Good luck!
Started at 80$, added non 4* zones and added each time 5$, while in the first 30$ I rised 10$ each time.
I booked the hotel for 1 night, but I'm staying for 3 additional nights. After failling in Priceline bids, I decided to book thru a regular booking website, I got in the Palomar hotel a king spa room for 219$ per night. I am sharing with you because it is really important to understand that not always you can get what you want in priceline and specially if you have a specific hotel you have. However, this Washington trip is just 4 nights out of 22 I booked in the USA, all the other nights were thru Priceline becuase most of the time they have great prices- but never forget to check other websites as well....
Started bidding at 50, raising 5 each time, the last one I raised from 70$ to 71$...
Notice: I got the Golf resort- I checked it thru the starwood website... but for this price I don't care being a mile and half away of the beach....
Good luck!
Started at 80$, added non 4* zones and added each time 5$, while in the first 30$ I rised 10$ each time.
This wasn't an easy bidding, I was trying for days, but the prices in NYC are very very high for September. Yesterday I tried the same bid but it was rejected, eventually today it was accepted.
I started my biddings at 140$, adding 5$ or 4$ for each bid. It seems like NYC will be packed of tourists on September.
* I decided to split my bidding, I was looking for an hotel until 9/11/11 but even 180$ was rejected, so I just bid for half of my trip, hopping that prices will be lower in the next few weeks, but at least once I land from Europe I'll have a bed :)
You are totaly right- my bad! Barcelona EAST
