Got back from the trip. Decent place - everything was smooth - except wasn't planning for a 20USD per night parking charge :) Well, next time will book in Vancouver Downtown - if I have to pay for parking anyway.

Thats correct. After failed bid for 65$ for a 3-star around Vancouver airport, I tried again at 70$ and the bid was successful.

Yay!! Won 3-star for 70$. Vancouver Airport area only for 2 nights - 6/24 to 6/26. Got into the Executive Airport Plaza Hotel in Richmond.

Its a 3-star hotel with the following amenities - Airport shuttle, fitness center, high speed internet, Restaurants. OTOH, I tried to bid on Priceline for a 3 star hotel for 60$ and tried again for a 2.5 star hotel for 55$. Both bids were for the Vancouver YVR area only and both failed.

Staying in Yakima for Memorial day weekend. 5/28 to 5/30/2011. The hotel amenities shown were complimentary breakfast, high speed internet access, self-service laundry facilities.

I got into the Cedar Suites in Yakima, Washington. Payed 57$ per night. On the hotel website, you can get the same room for 59$. In this case, the hotwire deal, after their fees, was more expensive than the deal directly from the hotel. also, 1 day after i booked, the price of the same hotel on hotwire dropped to 45$ per night - too bad. I hope the hotel itself is worth it. I had also tried a 2-star hotel bid for 42$ on Priceline but wasnt successful. Priceline offered to let me increase the price to 57$ and re-bit, but I declined.
