3* Orlando (Universal) Holiday Inn & Suites Orlando Universal 1 night 05/24 to 5/25 Offer price was $40 with $7 bonus cash.. totaling $47 bid. I actually wasn't expecting to win this for a while since it is a ways out. But I am happy with the outcome especially for just a place to sleep for a night. just an update Bookit had the Tropicana resort for $66.00. I had HOTWIRE price match the $4.00 difference.

4-star Hotel in Las Vegas Strip - South This Hotel features the following amenities: Resort Casino Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center Golf Nearby Won the Tropicana for $70 a night from Feb 9 to Feb 13. Total with taxes is $325.00(not including resort fees). Not a bad price and a perfect location for "home base" plus with the nearly 180 million in remodeling this place, it should be a great visit. I was in search of alternate options last night to see if spending $150 was what I was wanting to do. I did place another bid at 132 with no luck. Will keep the board posted with future bids/ alternate options. Hopefully have something booked within the next week or two. Also do hotel prices tend to go up before the holidays as people are buying trips as gifts and such?

Well I was looking to keep it up under $600. Do you believe bids closer to the $150 mark would be a more accurate bid for 5* Strip north and current hotel prices?

So far have not had any luck for my trip to Vegas Feb 9-13th. Currently my last offer was $121.00 which was not accepted and I was really wanting to stay in the 5* Strip North. My next round of bids also failed 55 60 65 70 75 The market rate for the two 3* hotels are 111 a night. Very interesting that I didnt win the 70$ bid. Any recommendations? Am i bidding to far in advanced since the dates are for October? Thanks, Jeff

So I was looking to stay at Fort Walton beach which is not listed on this board and during a quick search on priceline a message pops up saying there isnt enough selection for name your own price for that area. But upon attempting to use my 20$ credit for any name your own price I was actually able to make an offer for that area. With the following rejected bids for a 3* dates Oct 20-24 40$ 45$ 50$ Will update tomorrow.

Hey guys new to the boards. I have a quick question looking to stay Oct 20-24 at the Ramada Plaza Beach Resort(wedding there) at Fort Walton but it comes up in the Destin search with other 3* hotels. Can you guys give me any pointers that might help me out to make sure I can snag that hotel instead of another hotel. I noticed one winning bid back in Jan for around 50$.
