  1. The price per night was $217.51/night (before taxes/fees) for dates 9/27/2014 to 9/29/2014.
  2. I just replied in those previous threads. We are looking at dates 5/6 to 5/11. Would like to keep the budget under $250/night. I see a couple spots in downtown and Beverly Hills in that price range.
  3. I ended up booking through Price.line and got the Holiday Inn Downtown at $217.51/night.
  4. Looking to travel to Los Angeles with my wife in early May. Neither of us have ever been before. We want to see all the tourist spots and everything that LA has to provide. What is the best area in LA to stay?
  5. $104/night, formerly $250/night for 58% off. 100% recommended Free Parking Free Breakfast Free Internet Pet friendly Suite Airport Shuttle Fitness Center Pool(s) Business Center
  6. Curious what hotel this is for dates 8/30 to 9/2. Showing $90/night at 50% off. One room and one guest. Amenities include: Fitness Center Internet Access Pool Restaurant Business Center 90% recommended
  7. Does this seem like a good price for this property? Anyone have any experience with it?
  8. Amenities include: Fitness Center, Restaurant(s), Self service laundry, Internet access,
  9. Well, I ended up getting The Michelangelo Hotel 4.5 star on HOTWIRE for $198/night. First time ever using Hot.wire. All the reviews look very promising.
  10. BTW, I am not seeing the 4-star for $145/night on Hot.wire in Times Square There is a 4-star in TS for $134/night with the following amenities: Free Internet Smoke Free Rooms Fitness Center Business Center 65% recommended Any guesses?
  11. I used a similar way (closing browser and clicking on provided links) of bidding and they were all rejected. Not willing to get a very small room, so the Hudson is out. The Row looks okay, but the Manhattan seems to have terrible recent reviews. At this point, I might have to look at the 4 star properties with $200/night as my max budget.
  12. Can you tell me what the re-bid zone would be? I'm slightly confused, but from what I understand it would be a zone that only has 3 star or less in it. Not sure how to find out what zone that would be for the re-bid.
  13. Okay, I would prefer to stay in either of the sections listed in my OP: Times Square, Midtown West, Midtown East. Looking to spend $200/night at the very max. 3.5 star or better. Other than that, no real need. View or no view is fine. Quick subway access is not needed.
  14. My only needs is that the location be within walking distance of all the tourist spots in Manhattan and have a decent room view. Don't want to be staring at a brick wall when I look out the window. $165/night would be perfect for my budget. Looking to spend $200 or less a night. 3.5 star would be the minimum. Looking at some of the pictures and reviews, I'm not so sure about this other Club Quarters in Midtown. Anyone have any personal experience with it?
  15. I'm looking at it right now for 8/8/14 to 8/12/14. $165/night 3.5 star Midtown West Guest Rating: 8.0 Guest Favorite Free Internet in room Restaurant Business Center Fitness Center
  16. I'm seeing a PRICELINE EXPRESS Deal on 3.5 star for $165/night in Midtown West. According to the hotel list here, it's the Club Quarters, which seems like a decent place judging by the reviews and pictures. Is this a good deal? Anyone have any experience with this place?
  17. We have a young child, so it's okay if it's only 1 bed (hopefully a King size).
  18. Need bidding help for a stay in NYC from 8/8/14 to 8/12/14. Areas I would consider are: Times Square, Midtown West, Midtown East, Madison Square Garden (not sure I would want to stay in the Out Hotel however, as I have a young child). Looking to spend around $150/night (or cheaper) and 4-star, if possible.
  19. Got $80 each room for 2 rooms on my very first bid for these dates.
  20. Looking to travel to DC from 5/10/14 to 5/11/14. We want to stay close to where all the tourist spots (White House, Capitol, Lincoln Memorial, etc) are located. We will not have a car so we will only travel by train. I think we need a 3-star at a minimum for around $100 (or less). Any suggestions?
  21. Well, I ended up expanding the area to Central Austin and was able to get a room for $75/night at the Habitat Suites. My budget was under $200/night. I would have liked to be in Downtown Austin, but it looks like rooms are filling up fast.
