  1. I'm looking at staying in Nashville between 8/1 and 8/4. I'd like a 4* downtown. I initially bid $105, then have been adding in zones that look like they do not have any 4* and raising my bid by $5 each time. I'm up to Antioch, Franklin, Hendersonville, Smyma, and Vanderbilt (Vanderbilt has some 4* but I'd be OK with staying there too). I'm up to $130 with this combination and have been denied each time. There are a lot of zones on the Priceline website that are not on the hotel list on this website. What does that mean? Any other suggestions for zones that are safe to add in? Any guesses as to how much I should expect to pay? Thanks folks!! edit: I added in Brentwood and got the Nashville Marriott At Vanderbilt University for $135 + tax. Very minor savings. Still better than full price though.
  2. I started bidding at $56 and added $4 each bid. I added a different zone each time that did not have a 4* property. Got the Hyatt Regency Denver At Colorado Convention Center. Came out to about $80/night after taxes. On Kayak it's listed at about $196/night after taxes. Thanks for all the great information! Love this forum!
  3. How do you figure this out? Looks like in the HOTWIRE list smoke free is not mentioned, so I assumed it wasn't a match. Thanks!
  4. I want a hotel this Friday in Chicago in the N Michigan area. Hotwire is giving me $129.09 (Inc tax) for a 4 star in the area with these amenities: Suite Smoke Free Rooms Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Property offers at least one restaurant on the premises; hours and days of operation may vary. Business Center High-Speed Internet Access this doesn't seem to match up with anything in the list. Any suggestions?
