As requested for clarification, the amenties were: Airport Shuttle Complimentary Breakfast Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center High-speed Internet Access Note that Internet access is 9.95 per day, unlike the Sheraton at PDX which has free Inet. I also booked the Embassy Suites again at the end of November at PDX for 53 + tax/fees for a total of ~ $65.

I often book this Sheraton. Closest to terminal. Very nice rooms, comfortable. A couple of other things I like is that wireless is included, no extra fee - as is often the case at upscale hotels. Day parking is free (note there was a discussion about charging for "Park n' Fly" - if you want to leave your car your while you travel - it is included if you book at the Sheraton online, but not through HOTWIRE). The shuttle is fast, responsive and gets you there, even in bad weather. Amenities: * Shuttle * Restaurant * Business Center * Pool * Fitness Center * Internet

Just checked in. 3 star seems pretty accurate, OK room. Airport Shuttle Fitness Room Pool Restaurant Business Center Laundry Facility Hi Speed Internet Internet is wireless and no extra charge. Overall, looks like a good value for the money. Better bidding to all.

Hilton Portland and Executive Tower 921 S.W.Sixth Avenue Portland, Oregon 97204 (503) 226-1611 On Hotwire, the Hilton displayed icons for the following amenities: Restaurant(s) Fitness Center Business Center No credit toward Hilton Honors points, but I did get my room upgraded to the Honors floor at no additional cost. By the way, I had a corner room number ending in 07 on the North East corner - two walls of windows, great views, lots of light. Parking at the Hilton is $18/night, self-park or $22/night valet. :) You can park a couple of blocks away at a municipal garage for 95cents per hour (there are two on Yamhill at 4th and 10th). :o Also, meters are 8AM - 6PM, and free on Sunday. :) Internet is $10 for noon to noon. Local calls are $1. Bring or buy a calling card, since 800 numbers are free (up to 60 minutes). Happy trails!
