Went to Priceline and tried bidding. Started at $150 and got up to $170 on TS, MTE, MTW,CPS with no luck Would appreciate any guidence

I will surely use the links once I go to Hotwire/Priceline :) As for the regions - MTE, MTW, CPS and Times Square seems OK to us

Hi, I am planning a trip to NYC 8 May-16 May. As this is going to be my first trip to NYC (and the first time U try using Hotwire or Priceline) I would appreciate any information. I would like a good place (4*) which is close to subways and is considered safe to walk also at night. I would like to get a price (including all taxes etc.) that is ~200$. Is that possible?
