This same hotel is going for $319 on Expedia. WOWOWOWOW!!! Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Nights: 1 Subtotal: $85.00 Taxes & Service Fees: $18.76 Total Charges: $103.76
  2. You're right about the dates. I meant March. The reason I didn't want this property is because of reading a few other people's comments on here. After looking at their website, it does look like a real nice hotel. Thanks for the parking tip! I will definitely do that instead of the hotel parking.
  3. This site has saved us all a lot of money....let's support them.
  4. I was hoping for a hotel in North Bergen, but wasn't thinking and got a hotel I didn't even want! Oh well! Here's how it went: $60 North Bergen/Seacrus $65 Added Elizabeth $70 Added Jersey City Subtotal: $210.00 Taxes & Service Fees: $40.42 Total Charges: $250.42 I'm not looking forward to the parking and internet fees. I would have much rather have gotten Comfort Suites, North Bergen or Holiday Inn Harmon Meadow. Both with complimentary internet, breakfast (Holiday Inn you must be a priority member) and parking. Hopefully someone reading this won't make the same mistake as me! lol Live and learn.
  5. Darn. I thought I posted that other thing in the Hotwire space. Oops.
  6. Any ideas what hotel this is? 2.5* for $34 9/23-9/28 in Universal/Sea World Orlando area... Selected amenities include:silkHotAmenities0: Complimentary Breakfast, Pool(s), Fitness Center, Laundry Facilities (self-service).
  7. Hi Joe, Thanks for writing back. We are pretty firm on the dates. We might be able to get in the night before, but that's the only flexibility we have. We'd like a nice hotel under $50/night. Nothing like the Red Roof Inn or anything...something a little nicer than that. What star level are Red Roof Inns? I'd go at least the next level up...maybe around 2.5-3*s? Becky
  8. I'm looking for a hotel near restaurants/shopping/attractions. Is there a "main strip" in Orlando? We want to spend $50 or under per night. We are NOT planning on going to Disney for this trip so it doesn't matter if we're close to there. We are planning 2 days at Universal Studios. We'd like a nice hotel near the "action"....any recommendations? I need to know which areas to pick on priceline...and a bidding strategy would be great too please. ;-)
  9. Well, I got Crowne Plaza City Centre for $42. I would edit the title of this thread, but I don't know how! Thanks for the help!!! Email me if you ever come across any ND/Michigan tickets for a decent price!! GO BLUE!!!!!!!
  10. We will be staying in Cleveland 9/10-9/13. I wish we could stay longer in Ann Arbor, but can't afford the rates on football weekends! We're going to see the Michigan vs. ND game. Only thing is, no tickets! I can't afford what people are selling them for. Hopefully I'll run into a scalper that won't "scalp" me too bad. lol
  11. I'm planning a surprise birthday trip for my husband. After a stop in Ann Arbor, Michigan we will be heading to Cleveland for 3 nights. I need some opinions here. Would it be best to try for a hotel now or wait until we're closer to the date? We will be going to Cleveland to see a Browns and Indians game during the time we will be there.
  12. I'm looking for reservations for Labor Day weekend, but it just so happens I'm looking for reservations so we can go to the Michigan game at the Big House on Sept 3rd. I've never been here. My husband is a HUGE wolverine fan and has been is whole life, but has never been to a game. This is to be his birthday surprise. I have reservations at Four Points by Sheraton for the Notre Dame game, but unfortunately I can't find any tickets unless I want to pay $500 for 2! Anyone have tickets they want to sell or trade?? I bought tickets to both the Eastern Michigan game Sept. 17th and the Indiana game November 12th, but it looks like we won't make it to either of those. If not, someone please just help us with reservations somewhere nice! Thanks for any and all help I can get! Becky
  13. I believe my highest bid was $60 before I bid $70. This website is great. Thanks for all the help. I did get the Radisson Prince Kuhio...
  14. I'm so impatient! I went back and added the airport zone and bid $60 and still nothing!!! :*( I've done all this within 30-40 minutes. Should I wait a while before I rebid again and add more zones? Thanks for any help, Becky
  15. I'm brand new to this board, but I saw what good deals people can get at Prince Kuhio and really want to get it for around the $58/night price I saw someone else had gotten during the same time frame I'm going. I can't afford anything over $65. There's so much info on this website, I've looked through it, but need some advice. I'm going to Oahu May 27 - June 4th and don't want to switch hotels during our stay. I went in and picked a 3-star hotel in Waikiki South for $53/night and got declined. Then I went back and added Ihilani for $58/night and got declined again. I thought that is what I read someone else did, but it's not working for me. Please help! Are my adding the wrong Oahu areas? Thanks to anyone that can offer help!
