Going to see the KU Basketball game this weekend and gave BetterBidding's help/strategies a shot. I am more than pleased and I appreciate the suggestions. I used the PRICELINE link so hopefully the site will get the referral. Started out at $60/night for a 3.5* in the Plaza area. It was rejected so I added the Kansas City - North area and resubmitted a bid for $65/night which was also rejected. I then added the Kansas City - Lee Summit area and increased my bid to $70/night. The Raphael accepted my bid for $70/night and Priceline added taxes & fees of $33.82 which brought my total charge for two night to $173.82. Really looking forward to staying at this hotel since it was highly rated and going for $134/night if you didn't name your own price. Happy Bidding, -B
