  1. I use your PRICELINE link to bid for 4* Fort Lauderdale. For the first two days, I started with $50, and used areas one by one before all the area without 4* were bid without success up to $58 yesterday. Today, I start with $60 with the Fort Lauderdale Beach area again and get the Fort Lauderdale Sheraton Beach Hotel for $60 for one night of August 26. Room subtotal is $60 plus tax and fee $14.59, total $74.59. I original aim at the B Ocean, and thought that I might be able to get that at about $80 to $85. Now I get that at $60, and quite a good deal! :) catlung
  2. Hi, I found out that the topic should be: 3* Hyatt Place Utica US$59 for 8/29 - 8/30 Embassy Suite was NOT correct in the topic line as well as the hotel list.
  3. Thank you very much. Sure I won't use CAD in the future as they charged me more than $2 in which the amount wasn't shown before I hit the accept button. Thanks again.
  4. I finally purchase the hotel through hotwire and through your HOTWIRE link here. That is the 3* Hyatt Place Utica non smoking, breakfast, fitness, pool, business cetnre, internet, golf 2 adult 2 children Rate per night Canadian (C$) 57.07 Tax and fee 11.59 Subtotal C$ 68.66 Bank charge 2.32 After bank charge C$ 70.98 I heard that this property is quite nice. :)
  5. Hi, Please kindly identify the hotel for 8/29/11-8/30/11 2 adult 2 kids 3* Utical area hotel USD59 non smoking, breakfast, fitness, pool, business cetnre, internet, golf 95% recommended, 15.5-16.7 mi from centre I am guessing it is the Hyatt Place. If I bid that at Priceline, what would be the chance of getting this hotel? Would a range of $40-$45 be reasonable? I like Hyatt Place Utica, OK with Staybridge but not BestWestern. I had used your link tonight to bid priceline Southfield 4* for the same night at $55, rejected, added $60 (w Southgate) rejected. Maybe I should try $65 and $70 tomorrow night. I have 2 adult and 2 teenagers, should I bid or should I purchase through hotwire? As the cost of hotwire is pretty close to a sale of Embassy Suites (King room) Southfield for C$71, I am quite anxious what path should I take. Thank you very much. catlung
  6. I just use your site's PRICELINE link to bid for my friends' family for the same date 12/25 - 12/29 for 3 1/2 * <I successfully bid the Pittsburgh Airport Marriott for $48 a night a couple of weeks ago> I used $45 to bid <Airport> but failed with a counter offer of $60 of which I rejected; I then used $46 to bid <airport> and <Greentree> and stay at 3 1/2*, offer was then accepted by Pittsburgh Airport Marriot. Which was $2 cheaper than my original bid. My friend was the first time to hear about this and they are very excited! I shall update you after the trip. Thank you very much for your advice and the sharing of the site!
  7. As a first time user of PRICELINE or HOTWIRE: I bid $42 for 3.5* Pittsburgh Airport, but failed, PRICELINE requested me to continue with $58 with the same area; I bid $48 for 3.5* Pittsburgh Airport and Greenland, Price was accepted for Pittsburgh (Airport PIT) Marriott. I original aimed for the Hyatt Regency, but this one is pretty good too! (Being greedy, maybe I should try $45 and up next time! :) :) Thank you very much!
