  1. This was not the first bid. I couldn't remember the highest rejected bid though, probably it was $70. I saw a lot of people got this price for Grand Hyatt for this area. Were they actually Grand Hyatt on the Capitol Hill but not Grand Hyatt Washington?
  2. I am a little dispointed to know Hotwire is not refundable. But still it's good deal. I will be travelling from toronto and get to Jersey city from Washington DC.
  3. Forgot to mention some details. That is, 1 room 1 night 2 adults price: $91 tax and fees: $17.95 hotel subtotal: $109.95 additional savings: $10 total price: $98.95 You can check the reservation information online by giving the confirmation number. Looks like this one is refundable. If it applies to all Hotwire reservation, it will be really nice.
  4. Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Nights: 2 Subtotal: $160.00 Taxes and Service Fees: $30.74 Total Charges: $190.74 The hotel will charge $20 for self-parking. If anyone got some tip regarding parking, it would be really helpful. Thanks in advance.
  5. We changed our trip schedule and ended up getting one using Hotwire for Jersey City Hyatt Regency, April 4 at $91. As discribed in another thread, I opened the board's HOTWIRE link, then used the link provided by the ENTERTAINMENT to book the hotel. Hopefully will get the rebate. I already posted the bid information under New Jersay. Thanks for you help again. And If you could post some tip regarding parking in that area, it will be really appreciated.
  6. Got $10 off using code 'GIFTCARD06' (looks like only works for new user). Hopefully will also get $30 rebate through ENTERTAINMENT. Price is much higher than those posted but still acceptable. They will charge $15 for self-parking and we will get there early in the morning, which means we got to pay the parking fee for two days. So I am thinking of parking the car somewhere else nearby. Any one got any advice?
  7. I am going to NYC as a first time tourist. Now I am thinking of staying in Hyatt in Jersey city cause you guys said a lot of great things about it. Do you think it is possible for a better rate to be available between now and April 15? I plan to bid after that date when the weather forcast is available. If the rate for the Hyatt stays this high, I will go for a hotel in downtown or midtown area. Could you please let me know which zone is better for a first time traveller to New York? My budget for the hotel (excludes parking) is no more than USD120/night. Thanks for your help and I will definitely use the link in your post to book the hotel if I chooses Hotwire.
  8. I am going to stay in NYC on April 24, 2005 for 1 night (2 adults). The available rate from Hotwire for a 3 star one in the Midtown east area is USD101 and the rate for a 3* one in downtown Soho is 109. I have never used Hotwire before. Could anyone let me know if this is a good deal? And also if it is possible to get a better price for the Haytt in New Jersey city? Both the midtown east hotel and downtown soho hotel got the following amentities, Fitness Center Laundry Facilities (self-service)
  9. I live in Canada and it looks to me Priceline only accepts USA billing address but Hotline accepts international users. Is this true or have I missed something?
  10. Do I have to register with Hotwire to see the rebate page? I didn't see it when I went to their site. Thanks for your help in advance.
