  1. Was having trouble yesterday finding a deal in Druid Hills/Emory/Decatur. Bids for 2.5 star went as high as $62, but were rejected, with Priceline counter-offering $75. Bid of $65 for 3.5 stars was rejected with no counteroffer from Priceline. This morning I bid $75 for 3.5 stars and it was accepted. Probably should have tried a lower price but was getting impatient. It appeared that hotels in this area were filling up quickly for this weekend. The best rate that I could find for this hotel was $111.
  2. Best price on-line was $103 + $12 taxes & fees = $115. Total cost through Hotwire is $56. Made purchase through the HOTWIRE link on the BetterBidding website.
  3. Bid $48 on 5/20/11; it was accepted. Hotel is the Doubletree - Atlanta North Druid Hills/Emory Area, which I don't believe is on your list. Quick internet research indicates that it's quite acceptable, though. I was able to use special $5/night bonus from Priceline, so I paid $43 x 3 = $129 + $29.61 taxes & fees for a total of $158.61. Best price on internet was $68.57 average price x 3 = $205.71 + $25.41 taxes & fees for a total of $231.12. Accessed PRICELINE through the Better Bidding website.
  4. Initial Bid of $65 declined. Increased bid by adding regions, adding Asheville Airport ($70), Asheville East ($75), Asheville West ($80), and Asheville Square Mall ($85), which was accepted. Renaissance Asheville. 2 x $85 = $170 + $33.64 taxes & fees = $203.64. Cheapest rate online was $169 (two nights with taxes and fess = $380.22). Accessed PRICELINE through your website; happy with result and appreciate the guidance.
  5. $45 bid accepted, with taxes & fees $58.85 Courtyard by Marriott Executive Park Booked 12/29/10 through Better Bidding
