I bid $100 for a 4* hotel in all the downtown zones and didn't get anything. Then I tried $50 for a 3* and won the Pickwick Hotel. I wasn't really expecting to win anything downtown for $50. Pickwick is an older hotel but not bad for the price. Location was convenient next to a big shopping center with Nordstroms and a block from the cable car. Parking was $25 with in and out privileges. This is a great website. I've been using PRICELINE for years but haven't posted here before. Thanks for all the info.
