Should the Renaissance be added to the list of 4* hotels in Dupont Circle-Woodley Park?

Hello, I am looking for a 4* Hotel in Dupont Circle for the nights of 11/8 - 11/10, Hoping to spend around $170. The Priceline and Hotwire Calendar of Wins has "4.5* DC (Dupont Circle-Embassy Row) Loews Madison - $123". This seems like a very good price. Currently Hotwire has Dupont Circle - Embassy Row area Hotel 4.5* $209 Boutique Hotel Fitness Center Restaurant(s) Business Center High-speed Internet Access Tennis Nearby This would seem to be Fairfax at Embassy Row. Do you know, is this a good price for this Hotel? Also available Dupont Circle - Embassy Row area Hotel 4* $209 Smoke Free Rooms Fitness Center Restaurant(s) Business Center High-speed Internet Access This would seem to be The Dumont Hotel or Palomar. Anyone any idea which it is more likely to be? Good price for these? I note these are actually both ranked more highly than Fairfax on Tripadvisor. I also tried bidding up to $170 in Priceline, but nothing... Best, John

Thank you so much for this board. It was very helpful. Saw that Four Points Chelsea was available on Hotwire for $168 for my dates. Bid 3* Chelsea: $120 - bid rejected (but suggested I rebid at $150) Bid 3* Chelsea & Coney Island: $130 - bid accepted. Very pleased with this result. When it suggests bidding at $30 higher, does that generally mean that a big inbetween will likely be successful? thanks! JHB :)
