honeymooners, I've been unsuccessful with my bid for a hotel in this area as well. However, I am also being patient. I have booked a backup hotel as well. Mine is with the Hyatt. It also includes a $25 a day resort credit. That brings the per day cost to under $200. So, I'm comfortable with what I have if I can't get a room in the $150 range via Priceline. Good luck to you.

I must have been tired when I typed the previous post. Realized it was the Sheraton a little later after I typed it . No strategy needed. I'm a little experienced with Priceline, just having no luck right now and I'm OK with that. Thanks

Ronnald, Glad to see you received a hotel for the time you needed. Do you mind sharing the name of the hotel? Looks like you bid for a 4*? I have been bidding unsuccessfully for the week before you in the same area up to $175 resort with no luck. I have booked a backup hotel and will keep trying as I have about three weeks to keep trying. Can bid again tonight and will see what happens.
